Roll On Summer
I may be jumping the gun slightly here, given that it is only the fourth day of March, but honestly I am SO looking forward to summer! Earlier today, the sky looked like this, the birds were tweeting like crazy (I should point out that they are tweeting as in making bird noises, not using a popular microblogging site) and I could hear the lazy drone of a distant aeroplane. It feels like it should be summer!
The house we are moving to in 16 days (SIXTEEN!) has a little garden and I am soooo looking forward to it. I am going to get a deckchair and a lovely rug, and then sit out in the sun with a magazine and a cold drink. And surround myself with all the flowers that I am going to plant. I have spent a long time thinking about this little garden. I haven’t even seen it yet, but I know it’s there, and I can’t wait.
I can’t get enough of the blue sky. It’s so cheerful after all the grey, I feel so *smiley* with the blue sky!
These anemones also make me feel cheery. I don’t really have much else to say about them but I like the photo and a bit of eye candy is always good, right? Anyway, I thought you might like to say “Hi!” to the furry monsters outside, so I took some pics for you. Here is Rocket
Hi Rocket! No, I don’t have any food for you. Will a bit of fuss do? No? Ok then!
Here is Whiskey,
aaaaand Willow escaped when I opened her door, sorry.
Sooo that was my day up until about 2pm when I got a good news phonecall - there is an opening at my old job! Hurrah! Only, sorting this out it starting to get a bit stressfull -I have to go to Leeds on Monday, and I need to provide proof of address for my new address, only I do not yet live there! Argh. Soooo I’m trying to arrange a bank statement to go there and try to get that to the agency asap.
Not too bad so far, until I thought I’d try and sort my driving licence out (it’s only provisional, I failed twice!) because it’s in my old address and in my maiden name. But of course, I can’t find my counterpart licence! Oh what a mess. So I have had a very stressful afternoon! Note to self - be more organised, don’t lose important documents and keep all of my details up to date. Oh and buy a passport because that will make proving who I am SO much easier.
Phew. I think I need another eye candy photo … purple crocuses are sprouting too!
Lots of love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Woo! I love Dutch rabbits. I had some when I was a student and I can’t wait to live somewhere where I can have them again (and guinea pigs - I love the noises they make). Love your action photo of Willow too!
Awwww! What cute critters! Will they be moving with you? Finally, the sun is shining here today. What a mood lifter. 16 days and counting!
Yay garden! Ooh, anemones <3
On an unrelated note, but slightly related to cheerfulness and summer, I bought a RED COAT today with my birthday money! I’ve ALWAYS wanted a red coat. I thought you may appreciate my excitement.
Hi there!!! The weather is so unbelievably nice isn’t it!! I’ve been thinking about summer too to be honest (but hate the idea of my flab having to be more on show - now where’s the gym again?!)
by the way, not sure if it’s just my computer, but suddenly all your photos are tiny! never used to be like this… oh wait there, have just scrolled up and now it’s fine!! Honestly, computers have a mind of their own!!
Good luck getting all the address stuff sorted out, it can be so much hassle!
I would love a rabbit. Had one many years ago. You sound an excited lady! I bet you are so looking forward to your new house. I bet you’ll be making some really wicked things for it, crocheting wise! Those crocus’ are so beautiful and really spring like!
Have a good weekend,
Hugs and Love Suex
I’d love a garden - the boyfriend and I chose living closer the city centre and sacrificed a garden which I thought I wouldn’t mind but there were a few days last summer when I was cursing the fact that I had nowhere to sit and catch some rays!
Still loving Willow!
And thank you for reminding me that I need to send off my licence to update my photo. It’s up for it’s 10 year renewal. That’s made me feel old. And also made me realise that it’s been 10 years since I last drove, seeing as the last time I drove was when I passed my test!
