October Mosaics

Family visitors – mum and Grandma, my mother in law (Granny!) and my mum again. Love this so much. Baby feet. Breastfeeding and getting to know each other. First trip out with the pram on my own. Registering the birth. Last midwife appointment. Two growth spurts! Not much sleep. Writing letters and posting photographs to people. Visits from Rach & Rob, Katherine & Phoebe. Taking TTB to work to meet my colleagues. Making my photobook of TTB’s first two weeks. Central heating! Taking TTB out in the Ergo for the first time. Trips to Ilkley. Trip to Leeds – feeding in public for the first time. Taking TTB out for a meal with mum, Grandma and Andy when he was two weeks old. Cards and presents and flowers. Handknits! Writing thank you cards. Visit from The Girl. Visit from Ella and Rosie. Walks in the park … changing seasons. Beautiful sunlight. Autumn days. A crochet ta-daa and learning to crochet with a baby.

October: exhausting but wonderful.

  1. Your pictures are beautiful. I’m amazed that you still have time to do the monthly mosaic with a new baby in the house. I love reading your blog and get so much enjoyment from it. I love to hear about what you’re doing and what your life is like. The baby news brings back a lot of memories of when my children where that age. I would love to go back and do it all again. All of it. It’s so precious and goes by so quickly. Hope you have a wonderful November.

  2. I love reading your blog and hearing about your new little man….you are doing amazingly well…big boys need a lot of feeding. I used to take mine to bed with me just so I could get some sleep! This is one thing that worked for me I gave up coffee it’s a vicious circle drink coffee to keep you a wake and then maybe the caffeine gets through to the baby and keeps baby awake? I don’t know just a thought! Keep smiling you have a beautiful baby and it will get better! Lots of love and looking forward to hearing some more…x
