Before & After

This is my hair on Friday morning.

This is Alice’s hair on Friday morning.

This is our hair on Friday afternoon:

Oh the sweet relief of having all your hair chopped off. I think I’ve lost at least a stone in hair weight alone. Of course it doesn’t look so lovely and sleek and straight now as the hairdresser blowdried it beautifully with a round brush and I er, don’t do that. It’s a bit more like a bob now with a daft flicky bit underneath but it’s lush and so much better than before! The hairdresser was a bit amazed at just how much hair she had to cut off. Alice looks gorgeous as ever :-)

Could I be the first to comment on the stunning hairstyles!!!! You both look great and you still have long hair. It is always nice to have a change. Am supposed to be printing something out for work tomorrow(crouched up on the landing) and naturally got side tracked and spotted your posting. Suppose I had better get back on task!!!! xxx

  2. Oooohhh, nice! I used to have really long hair and remember the feeling of having it chopped off – it felt all swingy! I’m in danger of having really long hair again as I haven’t had it cut since Christmas. I’m getting to the point where I might have to cut it myself….

  3. Love the new haircut. I once went to Barcelona for the weekend and had it cut from down my back to a seriously short crop. I think the hairdresser was afraid I’d sue, but luckily I’d had it really short before so knew what to expect. Trouble is, the crop has made me really lazy about my hair – I don’t even own a comb! 6. Heather your hair looks great and looks silky and slinky, I used to have hair down to my waist, it is very thick hair, well its fine but a LOT of it, I remember when I had it all cut off, wow the feeling. If I put it up in a pony tail I would get headaches. It is very short now and I just throw some product into it and mess it up with my fingers.

Yep, slinky is a good word for it and a good thing for hair to be! What a great haircut, it looks excellent and really suits you. I loved your hair both before and after the chop. That’s a really nice length and I know what you mean about it feeling more manageable. Don’t get carried away and get a big chop though – that’s the sort of thing you might regret. This is perfect. (And Alice’s isn’t bad either – but this is your blog!)Lovely pictures of you both.

  8. You bagged it up and put it in the post to me, yes? Course you did. You know how much i love your hair and want it for myself. I shall have a wig made out of it…what do you mean it got chucked…. BOO.

You look rocking my love. I;m still Pat Butcher. There is NO HOPE!

Nothing like a new ‘do to brighten up your outlook. The cut is very flattering to your face. My hair does what it wants to most of the time so you are not alone there.

  10. Can you tell I’m catching up on life at the little tin bird?! Your new ‘do’ is LOVELY! You have such lovely shiny hair! Swish!
